Driven by a passion for creativity and a technical team based out of M.I.T. in Boston, MA, NALA is the first true AI-powered Art platform bridging the gap between data science and artistic expression.
The NALA team has created a unique system that redefines connections between creators and enthusiasts. Behind the science of matchmaking lies a deep understanding of the desires of both parties. NALA accomplishes this by combining data science with Artificial Intelligence and decades of hands-on industry experience.

Although he has a degree in Computer Science & Data Econometrics from M.I.T., Gulak’s passion has always been art. Over the years, he has been a painter, collector & agent, giving him a multi-faceted vantage point on the industry. Inspired by seeing talented artists unable to break into the global market, Gulak built NALA to help open the market to all artists.

Tim is an avid computer and data scientist – with a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Maryland; Tim utilizes computational methods, machine learning, and algorithms to study cancer at the Broad Institute of M.I.T. & Harvard. Finding patterns in massive data sets is a unique skill that Tim has been able to apply to the Art Industry, teasing out nuances only visible when viewed through the lens of data science.
